Weekly WoW show returns to ESL TV
WOW Wednesday is back with whole new show!:
"WoWverload" Press Release:
Cologne, Germany 30th September 2009 - Once upon a time, there were two little boys who liked playing video games and managed to turn their hobby into a profession. James “2GD” Harding former Quake 4 and WoW professional and 2007 European champion Matt “zaLmah” Rider brought madness to your screens for ten months with “WoW Wednesdays”, the first and only weekly television broadcast dedicated to World of Warcraft. After a hiatus they return to our screens with added ammunition, and the intention to bring you guys an overload of everything World of Warcraft.
Two new hosts equally passionate about WoW will be added to the roster. David “Shawn” Kugelman, a face familiar for his guest appearance during the WoW invitational, and a head admin at ESL who also happens to be a hardcore PvE nerd. Shawn plays for the mighty “Refuge”, a guild responsible for several world first heroic boss kills and he seeks to bring his expertise to WoWverload. Alongside him will be another host yet to be announced, but all will be revealed on Monday 5th October when the first show is broadcast live at 22:00 CET on ESL TV.
PvE content will be drastically increased, with analysis and guides regarding the latest encounters becoming a common feature on the show. We're especially excited about our brand new call-in segment where viewers will be encouraged to voice their opinions, vent their frustrations and insult our hosts. In addition to greater interactivity we will continue to bring developing stories, breaking news and Intel Extreme Masters coverage. Our “g0tb33f” feature where we pose a gaming or World of Warcraft related question will be back, we'll announce our question at the start of each show and the debate will continue to rage throughout the show.
Previous viewers of WoW Wednesdays need not worry; we pledge to embrace chaos, so be prepared to expect the unexpected with “WoWverload”. We will simply be stronger, faster and better in every conceivable way. The Warcraft movie highlights, contests and fun will be maintained. Tune in on Monday to get your overload of World of Warcraft and become informed, entertained and enlightened.
James “2GD” Harding has this to say about WoWverload:
“We're back with the new WoW show on the 5th of October! Though I guess for many it will feel like season 2 of WoW Wednesdays, But with any new season everything has to be better, and we've been working hard on implementing new content and polishing up old sections. And of course adding 2 new fantastic WoW Experts. Our goal is simple, to entertain and inform you. We will literally overload your brains with World of Warcraft...Awesome!”
- So don't forget to watch WoWverload tonight at 22:00 CET!
