Rules

1. Eligibility: The contest is open for all our users.

2. Length: Min. 1 minute - Max. 10 minutes.

3. Content: Recordings should focus on what guidance you have from the Manuscript. No extra scenes should be added and should you use extra "color" make sure you stay true to the story. All music may only be royalty free music or original creations or have the authors permission to use it in the contest to be eligible for Prizes. We may ask for proof of permission.

4. Participation:
  4:1 Posting entries outside the WCM Network during the contest period (before winners are announced) will result in disqualification.
  4:2 Multiple entries from the same author are permitted.
  4:3 Movie has to be uploaded using our submission form and selecting category "Contest".
  4:4 WarcraftMovies.com Promotion Clip must be in the intro of the movie submitted.

5. Winning: An expert panel at WCM will select worthy movies in each category after the submission period is over, then it is up to the community to vote for the best video. The decision is final.

Q: Can I make my own Story and submit it to this contest?
A: No, this is suppose to be a contest where you as an Author follow guidelines and try only to water an already planted seed.

Q: The Story is a bit dull, can I spice it up?
A: Adding extra color to the Script is OK, but stay true to the story, no extra scenes are allowed.

Q: Do I have to submit a whole movie or just a script?
A: You will have to submit a complete movie with sound and everything.

Q: Can I make more than one submission?
A: Yes, the only limitation is how much spare time you got.

Q: Is music produced by Blizzard considered royalty free music?
A: Yes, Blizzard produced World of Warcraft sound can be used in Machinima.

A: Check out Podseek.net and Okaytoplay.com. Always remember to read the Terms of Use on the sites you download from.
