What is the Warcraftmovies.com 06 "Christmas Spirit" contest?
We would like you to join us helping the community on WarcraftMovies get in to the spirit of Christmas with a "Christmas Spirit Contest".

Why do you hold this contest?
With less then a month to Christmas we would like to start this contest to see what you as the community are capable of. Your participation in this, whether it is with a movie or active voting, will hopefully show us that the spirit of Christmas lives not only in the world we like to call "AFK".

We also want you to help us donate money for charity over the Christmastime to the less fortunate. If you win you will be able to choose something you feel is important to you and we will make the donation in your name.

What are the prizes?
The top three received prizes.
1st place
- $200 to be given to a charity (well known) of their choice
- 6 months worth of WoW game cards
- 1 year premium account on WarcraftMovies.com.
2nd place
- 4 months worth of WoW game cards
- 6 months premium account on WarcraftMovies.com.
3rd place
- A 2 month WoW game card
- 3 months premium account on WarcraftMovies.com.

How do I participate?
The contest is now CLOSED. Please vote on the nominees.

How long will the contest run?
The contest starts December 1st and is open until December 21st 2006. Any Christmas themed movie submitted during this period had a chance of winning.

How will the winners be selected?
The staff at WarcraftMovies.com will select a number of movies from the submissions based on quality. These movies will be posted on the 22nd of December and all members will be able to vote on their favorite until December 30th 2006.

When will the winners be announced?
The winner will be announce after the voting has finished. The results will be published the same day.

General Contest Rules
1. Eligibility:
- The contest is open for all our users, all you need to participate is a movie that shows what Christmas is for you, a WCM Promo Clip in it and add the word "CONTEST" before the title.
2. Length:
- Movie must not be longer than 15 minutes.
3. Privacy:
- Submitted movies will not be released on the site during the entry period.
4. Quality:
- To be considered as a participant the movie must be meet our normal quality standards.
5. Winning:
- To elect the winning movies the competing submissions will be voted on by the community; starting one day after the entry period is over.
