The opponents are in Season 7 - Season 8 gear, and so are we, so there's little to no gear difference.
Why these clips instead of arena or highlights?
Well, I think it's harder / more entertaining to have extended fights that go for over 3 - 4 mns and see how a player reacts and adapts to the unexpected, rather then having 30 seconds showcases where all cooldowns are available and such. I wanted to bring of nostalgic feel to this, like when watching 1 vs X mage videos back in the days :)
