http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/clcbpt.aspx is the mod I was using for Sacred Shield. I forgot to put it in the movie. By the way, who releases a movie during BlizzCon weekend while there is a tournament stream with some of the best players going on? I'm an idiot.
Well, here it is, my third movie! I've said everything I've had to say about the way I make my movies in my last two summaries (no visual frills and whatnot). My music choices can be a bit odd but I hope you enjoy them all the same. The way I do text commentary is the heart of my movies. If you don't like it, you probably will not like the movie. They go hand in hand.
Hofflerand 3 starts with a couple silly battleground scenes with excessive use of engineering. The arena starts fairly early, so if you don't like that kind of stuff I hope you have the patience to get through it. I personally love it and think the movie would be far less if it was all arena -- dry, you know?
There's no 2v2 because the bracket is dead to me now. It's just very silly and imbalanced. However, there are a couple of 5's games which I hope you enjoy. I might've put more of it/more variation on teams but it's hard to face any high-rated teams -- hell, sometimes it's hard to get a que pop at all -- much less get a skillful, entertaining clip from it. I think the 5's bracket is a good bracket all the same.
My 3's team, which the majority of the clips are from, is Marks hunter/Ret/Resto druid. I like it because it's a comp that allows you to draw out matches a bit. You rarely are forced to go for early gibs like some rogue teams.
If there's anything I'd change about the movie, I missed a couple of important fear-Cleanses (in the Shadow priest match and the final one) and a game-changing, off-the-screen Repentance or two that I would have liked to have pointed out. I know I can still improve a lot at making movies but I know what to expect of myself at this point and I'm happy with the progress I'm making.
If you are new to Ret PvP or interested in trying it out, you should head over to the retpaladin.com forums. It's a great resource for Ret in general.
