IN AN EPIC, alternate-history storyline, Stormwind becomes the hegemonic superpower of Azeroth in the wake of King Varian Wrynn's assasination.

SIXTY YEARS after the war against the Lich King, Stormwind has flourished into Azeroth's most powerful nation. The city is protected by newly-obtained technologies, and the borderlands are safeguarded and more prosperous than ever. Westfall's farming industry is booming, and the undead haze over Duskwood has finally evaporated.

Though, basic freedoms have all but dissolved within the city itself. and the local law enforcement have found some way to predict insurrection and rebellion.

After the Church of the Holy Light was completely evicted from Stormwind, the Scarlet March, an offshoot of the original Scarlet Crusade, has returned to Elwynn to begin a military operation to remove the current king and administration from power. Anduin Wrynn has doubled his military power in order to deal with the Scarlet threat.

But the Sons of the Stonemasons, a new Defias order, has begun to seep up from the darkest places in the city, allying with a foreign, zealous terrorist organization known as the Sa'al, Kaldorei religious fanatics superimposing their faith in Elune upon others.

With the mischief's of these factions, combined with the despotism within Stormwind itself, the world has become a very dangerous place.

One can only wonder who will prevail, in the end.
