This is my first full-on pvp movie. After patch 1.9 there's been a lot of discussion (and some hysterical accusations) thrown around on the paladin boards. Paladin DPS is worse in 1.9, paladins are nothing but healbots thanks to Blizzard botching 1.9, paladins can't do well on their own...



Wrong.



Paladins are great with other classes, great with other paladins, and fine by themselves. I couldn't fit in everything I wanted but I tried to give examples of grouping in BGs, some Rambo-type solo rampages, some 1 on 1s vs quality, well-geared opponents, and a couple extended battles to give you a better impression about paladin dps and survivability than 10-second clips of me pwning people or mashing Lay on Hands to live longer.



My gear is better than that of the average paladin (3/8 Judgement, Herald of Woe, etc) but if you scale down the opponents in my 1 on 1 fights, a paladin with blue gear ought to be able to take any one of them assuming they have similar gear.



I released a shorter compilation immediately after the patch was put out and based on the feedback I got from that I decided to focus this movie more on the paladin's ability to take a lot of damage instead of just showing ph@t crits over and over again. .
