I was bored and decided to solo Magtheridon.

It was a little challenging as the trash and the channelers in the room were bosses and melee for about 800-1000 combined with Magtheridons 4-6k melee swings along with their annoying self heals and shadowbolt volley. Which made it impossible to kill them. I had to tank them + Infernals + Magtheridon, of course. This made the trinket Unidentifiable Organ(heroic) the optimal one to use as it would never lose its 10 stacks with 7ish boss mobs hitting me + infernals.




I used my normal Rune Tap blood tanking spec along with its buffs obviously

Scrolls used:Forgotten Kings(till it ran out oops), Fortitude, Mark of the Wild

Flask:Stone-blood

I used my tank gear and my dps weapon Heroic Bryntroll, the Bone-Arbiter(for now...45 shards---5 to go) to give me a bit of extra Healing/damage.

This was my first attempt to solo him so its not as clean/optimized as it could be. I could of used melee hit cap, and got in a bit more healing/damage but it worked out in the end.

I also could have used more dps gear (as thats what my main spec is)

I did about 6.7 million (5k something dps) damage during the encounter and about 2 million healing(about 1600 hps)

Yes, nerf Deathknight self healing (stronger than some "healers" in random dungeon queues)


The Enrage Timer is 20 minute at the start of Magtheridon's release so 22 minutes once the first Channeler is Engaged. I was a min or two ahead of this timer but it does require a decent amount of tank damage to beat the enrage.
