First off let me say, I took a different approach when making this video. I tried to do something a little different by adding cut scenes at the beginning and ending. Also, I DO NOT claim to be the king of wow PvP. I don't think I'm super uber pro, because I'm not. My arena rating is n00b. I didn't make this video to "showoff" per say. I made it for fun really. So don't expect a video of big crits, 5v1 battles, and insane pro material. I just really wanted to make a PvP video before WOTLK came out. I knew that if I didn't do it now, I wouldn't get the chance again for a while. So enjoy my modest video.

Everything takes place in patch 2.4 (little 2.3) so don't be confused by 3.0.2 stuff(the good old days when ret paladins were ez to beat). There are a lot of editing that goes along with the music and the file front stream off syncs it a bit so I recommend downloading.

What to expect?

Cutscenes: I through in a couple cutscenes to make fun of world pvper's. I know I'm gonna get bashed for saying it but worldpvp is plain, flatout dumb. THEIR IS NOTHING SKILLED ABOUT KILLING PEOPLE ON ILSE OF QUEL DANAS WHEN THEY HAVE HALF HEALTH/ATTACKING A MOB. Most people their are just trying to get their dailies done as fast as possible, but there's always those dickless cow humpers out their who think their pro by killing people when they are completely defensless (I'm talking to you mages and rogues). So many people make videos of them killing people in Ilse of quel danas and they get rated high, and people are like "Sweet your skilled" WHAT IS SO SKILLED ABOUT A S4/S3 CHAR KILLING A PVE GEARED CHAR WHO DOES NOT WANT TO FIGHT BACK? It doesn't make sense to me.

For the cutscenes I wanted to add voice overs, but I couldn't get it to work effectively. I had my mic I use for ventrillo but that thing is so old, it came with my old gateway 2000 computer. It records wat to quietly. I had to jam that mic down my throat to get a good sound out of it. Even then it was poor quality. The other mic I had was actually a voice recorder my friend had. That actually was too loud, because it recored too much fuzz in the backround. So I decided to stick with subtitles. It's not as effective but it still gets the point across.

Battle Grounds: put a few good battle grounds in the beginning. I don't have many because it is quite difficult to find good 1v1 or 2v1 without other people getting in the way and stuff like that. However most of the BG's are in WSG.

Arena: The bulk of the video is arena. My arena history is pretty sad. First I did arena over the summer with a warlock and we almost made 1600 (I know, thats pathetic). But then my partner took a break from wow or something cause he never logged in anymore. So I found a holy paladin just to get points and needless to say my rating got even worse. I found another lock to arena with, our rating started low and didn't really get much better so that's that. Now that 3.0.2 is live I don't arena anymore because all ratings and points are reset at WOTLK launch so whats the point? Basically just watch the video, and it will look like I'm pretty good, but if you look at my rating......

Duel: Their are only two duels thrown in at the end because the peeps on my server who actually sit outside orgrimar all day are pretty good.

Q: Whats with the country music?? You from the south?

A: Its not country music, some of the music I used is from the Bubba Ho-tep soundtrack. Never heard of Bubba Ho-tep? It's an independently made film, a very good one for that matter. It stars cult classic Bruce Campbell. The purpose of the music is to set a mood, but I understand if you don't like it. Just mute it if you have to. The actual PvP footage contains heavy metal so don't fret. And no I'm not form the south.


Q: Your video is garbage, your arena rating sucks, all you have is welfare gear. You'll never be uber pro like me.

A: Not really a question but I never said this was a uber pro video. I clearly stated in the description above that this an amateur video. So you can S my D.


Q: Their are some inconsistency in your video. You fade out after both opponents are dead, and other times you fade out after just one died.

A: Two reason for that, One: in order for timing to fit perfectly I needed to cut out early soemtimes or extend the videos. Two: the ones where I cut out early are the ones where the only opponent left is a healer, do you think a healer can win a 2v1?

Q: If you hate world PvP so much then why are you on a PvP server?

A: That is a very good question. My main was my first char I ever made. When I first started playing wow I asked my RL friend what server I should play on, and of course he said "pick a PvP server". I would transfer but of course, I'm not paying blizzard anymore money then I have to.

Q: why do you have the gladiator staff? The main hand off hand is better for shadow priests.

A: I know main hand off hand is better, I didn't find that out until after I spent all the honor and gold for the enchant on the staff. At the time I got the staff all I could think was "big staff looks coooool" (That was pretty dumb).
