Yes. He is the Orangemarmalade you know; who is now regarded as one of the best players in the world. His first movie was extremely difficult to find, and now that I have it, my intention is to share with my fellow Orangemarmalade fanboys.



His character's name in the movie is 속력, translated in English as Velocity.




A source provides a myth as to why this vid was never released on WCM or on other sites (there is no confirmation):

Being a close friend to Francis (of whom some of you vanilla WoWzers might be familiar with. The rumer has it that Orangemarmalade claimed himself to be a pupil of his), he was also inspired to make a Frost PoM mage video to boast his expertise in mage class. When the video was finished, he submitted the video on a Korean forum, where one of the opponents on the film complained that he/she suffered an emotional damage from being killed by Orange using mind controll skill(or item, more precisely). Soon after, Orange withdrew the movie, and the video was quickly forgotten.


Well, it does sound silly, but if anything, it makes for an interesting gossip, huh?





My observation is that the movie have been frapsed sometime after patch 1.50 (WSG & AV release. 2005 June. auto shooting wand implemented) and before 1.60 (BWL release. 2005 July)



P.S.: this movie, in my opinion, shows a mage with flawlessness that is unmatched with no vanilla WoW movies. While this doesnt contain any PoM Iceblock or anything of the awesome reaction time trick, but shows very appropriate target changing, kiting and using cooldown at the very best moments.

but it is possiblely biased because I know what Orange is like now. :p

2. for some people who do not enjoy watching vanilla WoW PvP altogether: I understand your concern completely. but this movie features the past of an individual who now is one of the most famous player, and as a fan of his, I thought it would be interesting to see how good he was before, and how he evolved as a pvper that he is now.

My deepest sorry for making you watch this if the movie bored you, but as you could see above, I mentioned this was filmed in 2005.

someone pointed out that Will of the Forsaken got nurfed(20 sec duration->5 sec duration) in patch 1.6. so the movie was filmed after 1.6. I assumed it was before 1.6 because I did not see any of the BWL gears. thanks to Grimzz for pointing that out.
