Not much to say regarding this encounter. Like normal mode, the majority of the mechanics related to this boss are ignored when soloing. Hence the same strategy used for normal mode should also be used here. The only new mechanic that is noticeable when soloing is Vile Gas that is occasionally casted on the player, but the damage from this is very negligible.

With that said the biggest challenge of the heroic version of Rotface lies in the increased melee damage from the boss. This, combined with the increased health pool, makes the enrage timer quite challenging to beat. Therefore, in a nutshell, heroic Rotface is nothing but a gear check.
