Short summary

It is about a man called Stalvan Mistmantle. He takes a job as a tutor for a rich family's children and spends a few weeks in their summer cottage tutoring them. There he falls in love with their elder daughter, and suspects they share feelings, but things change when one day she comes inside the house with a young man....
