    WCM Live Broadcaster is used for broadcasting High Quality live video streams through a Peer to Peer protocol.

    Q:What platforms does the broadcaster support?
    A: Windows XP or Vista. At the moment other operating systems are not currently supported.

    Q: How do I install the broadcaster?
    A: To install the broadcaster, double-click the broadcaster setup icon located on your desktop or in the directory where you stored the file. Double-clicking the setup icon will open the Setup Installation Wizard. The Wizard will walk you through the steps to install the broadcaster.

    Q: How do I start a broadcast?
    A: To get started, make sure you抳e launched the broadcaster by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, Start Panel or system tray. IMPORTANT!Enter your WCM username as the Nickname. Your username will connect your Broadcast with your Profile on WCM.

    Select the Hotkeys Tab on the right corner of the tabs section. You can modify the hotkeys as you see fit for the game or application you are planning to broadcast.

    Make sure the broadcaster program is still running on your machine. Then, open WoW. When the WoW has loaded, select the hotkey to start the broadcast. You will hear a short beep sound and the broadcaster icon on your system tray will change to show the broadcast is loading. When your broadcast has loaded, the broadcasting icon will now be displayed in the system tray.

    That抯 it! You are now broadcasting.

    Q: I have started a broadcast. How do my fans view it?
    A: After about 1 minute it will show up on the WCM Live page as well as in the Live tab in your own profile. The only thing your fans has to do is to click it and install the plugin to view it.

    Q: How do I record a Broadcast?
    A: Access the Settings Window. In the General settings tab (open by default), go to the 揜ecord video to disk?section and select the "Record to? checkbox. Now your next broadcast will be stored as an mp4 file in your computer!

    Q: What settings do you recommend starting out?
    A: Set the Resolution to 640x480, Frequency to 20 FPS, Bandwidth Usage to 80% and Maximum Bitrate to 600 KB/s. Read the Full FAQ for more info about settings.

    Q: I am having trouble with getting audio to work. What can I do?
    A: The broadcaster allows you to broadcast sound from your application or from your microphone (not both). To broadcast sound from your application, you must have Stereo Mix enabled. Read the Full FAQ for more info about this.

    Q: Will the performance of the network/software improve?
    A: We are working very close with the creators of this software to make it the best it can be.
