Im proud to present my first WoW movie. Recording for over 2 weeks and then editing for over 30hours, this video showcases elemental shaman and ret paladin at 2300+ 2v2 arena(10min.) as well as some world PvP in Stormwind and Ironforge(6min.).
A little about myself;
Ive been playing WoW since release, jumping around an array of classes on different servers. Some of these include a disc priest(Paxtonite) on Illidan, a feral druid(Byt) in scripted pvp over on Cho'gal and then the week before S6 started I came back to my level 70 elemental shaman and leveled him up just in time for S6 to start. I've been arenaing with my long time friend Creed(Holyhandnade) since being back on Warsong.
The changes to elemental shamans in 3.1 definitely toned them up in to a half playable class/spec and with a few more changes, I could see elemental being a reasonably competitive arena class, even in 2s and 3s.
The comp ele/ret is an incredibly fun one to play as there is a huge amount of burst and general utility at hand but it can often be extremely frustrating as well because it doesnt take much to completely lock an elemental shaman down. I'm hoping whilst watching the video you can see some of the coordination Holyhandnade(ret) and I have in our burst as well as the synergy needed to keep eachother alive.
Please leave comments, explaining what you did or did not like about the video, as there will be more to come in the future. Downloading definitely leads to a better quality but the stream isn't too shabby either and thankfully music is in sync.
Crank that volume up because the music is edited to the action.
