Valley of the Damned is a machinima set in the Warcraft universe, just before the Scourge Invasion and the Third War. It is primarily a character-driven drama, not an action film, but there is plenty of murder and mayhem. The story follows a scheming noblewoman through her training in Dalaran, and her descent into the dark world of necromancy and the Cult of the Damned, in the kingdom of Lordaeron’s final years before being consumed by the Plague of Undeath.

In Episode 1, we meet Lady Fierine Calloun as she begins her arcane studies at Dalaran, and learns that a darker movement lurks beneath the Violet Citadel's well-meaning facade.
