Movie Summary
Bragaul, a Night Elf hunter with the guild "Action Nine News" on the Whisperwind server, solos Garr, Baron Geddon, Ragnaros, and Thunderaan to obtain the legendary sword Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.

My thanks go out to my guild A9N for providing the elementium ore and to Yuliana who provided the transmutes and mining services to obtain the elementium bars.

My UI is custom made.

The song is "Little Bones" by the Tragically Hip.

Strats: Overall Philosophy - K.I.S.S.

Garr: Turtle, 2pT5, pet food and a stam scroll make this fight a LOT easier. I've done it with a boar without the buffs but then you may wipe a few times. The key is to keep your pet alive while taking out the adds and having it keep aggro. I do this by misdirecting to my pet and waiting till it has about 10 seconds left before I multishot pull. I make sure mend is pet is on before I pull as well. Since I wait till misdirect was almost expired it allows me to do a second misdirect quickly after the fight begins. Garr also removes mend pet so be sure to refresh it if he does. Since I'm using 2pT5, I use multi-shot on every cooldown, not just for dmg, but for the healing effect. If the pet starts to get low don't be afraid to volley it back up to health. Just make sure you feign death when adds start to charge. If feign is on cooldown use deterrence and have your pet attack it to regain aggro. You can take some beats but not too many. When the adds go down, Garr, himself, is really easy. Remember your bandages.

Baron Geddon: This fight is all about watching your distance to the boss. I use hawkeye and tediously stay at max range with the pet between you and Geddon to avoid his explosions and drains. If you get nailed with a dot you might as well just call it there. The difficulty comes with mend pet. When Geddon does his inferno (hellfire like ability) our pet starts to dance behind him. This puts him out of range for mend pet and the boss's distance to you will shift. Remember to reposition or you'll get debuffed. To keep my pet up during the dance the 3pT1 (increased distance to Mend Pet + other stuff) really helps. I've done it without but hey KISS.

Ragnaros: Bring lots of bandages. Even with charge trained on your pet you'll get hit with a 6K magma blast and, sadly, Roar of sacrifice doesn't help here. But, hey, 6K is covered by a heavy netherweave bandage :) Ragnaros himself is easy, the adds are problematic. I used to fight the adds, have my turtle shield, get aggro, fight like crazy to get the down before they kill my pet. It's doable but a PITA. While browsing the EJ solo hunter thread I discovered if you keep your pet on passive, you can just feign death bug the adds away. Again, KISS comes to mind here. If you don't feign them away, you can kill the adds but it's tough to keep your pet up (even when buffed and in stam gear + 2pT5) and you'll have to do it several times.

Thunderaan: By far the easiest fight. I didn't know what to expect so I wore my stam gear and buffed my pet up. I doubt I needed any of it and probably didn't need 2pT5 either.
