Four years ago Zend released Predatorcraft using the original Predator movie soundtrack and completely shot on a live server.

I noticed that the movie can now only be found in the dark dungeons of the premium archive.....until now!

I feel that it deserves a second look for those that missed it the first time around.
Then again, I was cast as the Predator so I may be bias :P

World of Predatorcraft - a warcraft version of the 1987 sci-fi action film Predator!

I've always enjoyed making warcraft movies - having made a couple of PVP films however, I quickly realised that I lacked the skills as a rogue to be able to make a good one, and for everything I thought of, a dozen guys had already done it, and done it better.

Then I realised that what I liked most was actually editing and producing a movie, even more so than pvping itself. The idea for this film began to form in August 2006 - during our long raids in AQ40, teamspeak would often provide hours of amusment as people sung, shouted, laughed, joked and otherwise made fools of themselves for the amusment of guildmates. Catchphrases from such films as Terminator, Predator, Total Recall and Aliens became guild jokes - and the idea dawned that it would be fun to make a short movie using these catchphrases.

This idea eventually grew until the only obvious choice became re-filming Predator, with a warcraft twist.

It was great fun to make. We got many a strange looks from confused level 30 alliance players while filming - I lost count of the amount of times some guy would run into camera shot looking puzzled at all these skull-level horde running around in silly costumes.

One of the hardest parts of shooting was getting everyone online at the same time - inbetween real life, grinding, hangovers, losing costumes, raiding, gambling and PVP, it was tricky and slowed things down a lot. But in the end, the hard work of the cast paid off, and I'd just like to thank them all for their time and dedication.

Anyway, enough babbling - I hope you enjoy the film as much as I enjoyed making it - and remember - if it bleeds...we can kill it!
