The Timeless Isle is a new island located off the southeastern coast of Jade Forest

The PTR is up and running for World of Warcraft!
Note: The Patch 5.4 PTR is not yet available, but you can feast your eyes on the latest version of the PTR patch notes below. Please keep in mind that these changes are not final, and a great deal could change before the final patch 5.4 release.
Look for the 5.4 PTR to become available in early August or September!
Earlier tonight, we datamined a huge 5.4 PTR build with thousands of items and Tier 16 bonuses. Blizzard followed up tonight's PTR build with their official patch notes!
Virtual Realms are coming. They're sets of realms that are fused together, and will behave exactly as if they were one cohesive realm. Players on the same Virtual Realm will be able to join guilds, access a single Auction House, join arena teams and raids, as well run dungeons or group up to complete quests.
Proving Grounds allow players to complete solo challenges designed for Damage, Tank, or Healer roles.
Resto Druids have many changes, including a new glyph, Glyph of Efflorescence, which increases the healing done by Swiftmend by 20%, causes the Efflorescence healing effect to be triggered by Wild Mushroom instead of Swiftmend, and lasts as long as the Wild Mushroom is active.
A Pet Battle tournament is coming to a new 5.4 zone, the Timeless Isle! In addition, many pet passives have been changed.
Players who get the realm-best time for a specific challenge mode will get a special title--until another group gets the realm-best time.
Enchants now scale and all enchants can be applied to heirlooms. High level enhancements applied to items equipped by low level players have their power scaled down to be similar to enhancements intended for that level range.
