Shuriken Toss - This may not be needed but the window to phase Vizier Zor'lok before Convert is much smaller on Heroic since you need to kill the Echo first.
Venom Rush

Very similar to the Normal mode version of this encounter except for two new mechanics.

When Vizier Zor'lok leaves a platform he spawns an Echo that will use either Attenuation or Force and Verve. Echoes, much like Vizier Zor'lok will also cast Song of the Empress if no targets are within melee range so they must be killed. Echoes have 572k HP so you'll more than likely need some sort of CD to help burn it down fast. In my kill I used an Agi pot on the first one and then a DPS CD on the second.


*Attenuation* becomes a little more dangerous on Heroic mode in that it will now send out Sonic Pulses on top of more sonic rings. Sonic Pulses hit for about 33-36k Physical Damage so try to avoid them as best you can.

It should be noted that you can use Killing Spree to avoid the Stun/Damage from Exhale (This wont work in 6.2) which can help a lot especially in the last phase.

*Song of the Empress* is not an overly threatening ability but you should do your best to maintain Feint and Recuperate anytime it is being cast whether it is from Zor'lok or one of his Echoes. When Zor'lok has flown to the 3rd platform it is viable to use Shuriken Toss to safely avoid the Vizier's Convert ability but you will have to deal with Song of The Empress. The amount of damage that is done by Song of The Empress cannot quite be outhealed by Recuperate and Leech damage just yet so you will need to keep Feint active as well as having a Health Potion ready to be used. Any health lost during this period can quickly be recovered in the final phase since the prior phases do not merit their use.
