This short "PvP music video" contains 4 fights against warriors.

Fight 1: S2 level warrior
Fight 2: Warrior that is currently on a 2300+ rated 2v2 team (not at the time of the fight)
Fight 3: Revenge fight
Fight 4: 4/5 S3 warrior with sword. Currently is 5/5.

My gear varies from 2 S1 to full S1. My build is a hybrid BM/Survival build with Intimidation and Wyvern Sting. It is a BG build, it is NOT an arena build. Marksmanship is the best arena build, but IMO, sucks for general BG play where you have to deal with 1vNs quite often.

This is actually the second of a pair of movies (the other one deals with 1vNs) I submitted. The first was rejected for not having a good enough "size to time" ratio. Since this movie used the same exact compression I assumed it would get rejected as well, so I let the movie description slide.

But now, I see that it is up and featured with a bunch of people making ignorant comments, quite frankly.

Comment: The movie is nothing but warriors!

Reply: That was the theme of this particular short movie. Warriors. Each short would have a different theme. The other short is on 1vNs. A third is going to be on abusing feign and shadowmeld.

Comment: Your build sucks!

Reply: Well, in the summary of my first (and rejected) movie this is a battleground build. It has wyvern sting to handle 1vNs and the survival talents from BM and the Survival tree to be able to stand toe to toe with warriors and rogues... even when outgeared.


Comment: Your enchant sucks!

Reply: As explained in my other summary, this hunter is an alt. I'm not dumping a ton of cash into this toon and at the time the only enchant I could get easily for free was the INT enchant. Of course, that is not optimal. I KNOW that is not optimal. But, I do not need optimal gear to do well in solo PvP. Never have.

Reply: If you would look at the comment IN the movie it says I must have caught him ON HIS WAY UP. That is his armory sheet NOW. His name is Kwandyn. He is in the Emberstorm battlegroup.

His partner is a Holy Paladin with 124 wins 33 losses and a personal rating of 2313

That looks legitimate to me. And I killed him even though he used both a healing potion and the BM trinket. You can take that as a condemnation of the arena system if you want to. Yes, this warrior who sucked enough to lose to my hunter (which is an alt with very little PvP experience as a hunter) was still skilled enough to get 2320 rating in the arena.

Take that for what you will.

Comment: Those warriors sux they didn''t even use intercept

Reply: I got intercepted three times. But if you look at my positioning you can see that I was 5-8 kiting or doing runthroughs to PREVENT or delay the intercepts. Is this a completely forgotten skill or something? When the warrior moved back, I moved forward. I mirrored their motions. When the third warrior moved back and changed stances to go for an intercept I IMMEDIATELY feigned and shadowmelded to deny the intercept. If you can't see that then I'm going to have to say that it is YOU who doesn't know jackshit about fighting warriors.


Comment: Warriors are EZmode for hunters!!

Reply: LOL, are you serious? Like most matchups it is heavily dependent on build. An MM hunter has a harder time against warriors than a survival hunter. But, warriors... are not easy. If you position yourself incorrectly just once you could die. In the last fight, I let the warrior get a midfight intercept on me and that alone almost killed me.

In summation, all people care about any more is gear. When you see a person use their abilities to beat someone better geared than themselves your mind naturally rejects it.

Oh, well... they sucked. No, you suck. Yeah, actually you both suck! You wouldn't know skill in positioning (5-8 kiting, for example) or in actions (feigning to avoid an intercept, or shadowmelding to ruin a charge) with regards to 1v1 PvP if it hit you in the face anymore. Whatever. I know the truth, I know I'm right, and you can pretty much all go #@$# yourselves if you don't agree with me.
