Hellfire Armor
On May 11th, 2006, Blizzard a quite popular piece of warlock fanart by Randal Dumoret (Belith). While trying to think of ideas for interludes, I thought maybe I could recreate Randal's artwork into reality hence the creation of this short video. This was finished on June 14th, 2006 shortly after I saw that artwork (though it was released on his Guild's website a fair bit earlier) so a nice turn around on this video too bad its been sitting on my computer for 7 months waiting to be seen.

In making the video, the armor I cheated in one way that Blizzard couldn't do easily by adding a second layer to the female human model that creates the glowing runes/ Though they could create several submodels and based on how much armor you have equipped it would effect which one is chosen as the player model but would be overcomplicated.

The claws are a spell effect I created and was activated whenever I casted Mark of the Wild same with the fire underneath the player both are modified models that were hex edited and modified spell effects I created with the various Spell DBC's.

The shoulders were a lengthened version of the PvP mage shoulders. They had a glow layer added and the flame particles added as well via hex (wasn't till later I developed tools for easier working with particles).
