Unlike most other Ahn'Qiraj movies, this does not focus on the battle with the Collosuses or Anubites after the opening of the gate. It focuses instead, on what happened before the opening of the gate. On February 21, 2006, at about 12pm server time, both Horde and Alliance began forming ragtag armies. Neither side made contact with each other yet. Both wanted the honor of opening the gate. The Alliance formed up at the gate, while the Horde occupied a camp near Cenarion Hold. Soon, the ragtag armies grew into massive legions of dozens of the top guilds in the server. At 1PM Server time, the Horde launched an attack on the gate.
