Where do I even start..
These are the remainings of old WoW Classic clips which I decided to put in a short movie.
After a while I realised all of these clips could make it in an actual movie and so I began to spend more and more hours into editing.
As soon as I was thinking about the music choice I knew I wanted to make an Oldschool PvP movie.
This is why I went with a rather basic edit, might also just be an excuse since I am not experienced at editing lol. Nonetheless I still invested alot of hours into the editing (way more than I thought I would).
Personally I think it came out pretty well, and I'm happy the movie is finally done and released.

My intention was to make you feel like it was 2006 again and you just watched a Vanilla Mage PvP movie. Let's be real.. Classic could have and should have been better.
I'm aware that most people nowadays don't care about Vanilla Nostalgia but I still hope this reaches some people that are interested.

He was probably the one who made me play Mage in WoW (Not Vurtne? Crazy I know..((ok maybe a bit too, I also copied one song from Vurtne since it fit perfectly.))

CLIP INFORMATION:

00:01 - 00:06 So obviously the intro is edited the same as the original.
00:07 - 02:26 This was recorded during Phase 2 where Horde had to sit in a 1hour+ queue for AV, so we had to do some World PvP to keep up with all the other rankers. The 3 gnomes were potatoes but was still a good / funny clip since they just all spawned again and again lol.
02:28 - 04:08 This is the only song that wasn't in the original movie it was actually from Vurtne 3 but it just fit the clip so well. I know I used my Reflector too late and could've killed him easier but this way the clip looked more intense.. /wink
04:09 - 05:11 The Cold Snap - Iceblock - Deathcoil was pretty satisfying to watch but it was pretty easy to time since he just used it after my CS ran out. The poor mage was a little potato, tried so hard.
05:12 - 05:45 This was one of my most used World PvP farming spots. People were going for DM to farm preraid gear so I alot of Alliance there to kill. The portal into invis pot was to lure this warrior out who I wanted to kill once more just for the honor and it worked out well. There was no mercy for the poor non rankers back then. People couldn't handle that anymore..
05:46 - 06:36 Nothing crazy here just a 2v1 against two potatoes.
06:37 - 08:01 This was actually my oldest clip. Was recorded in Phase 1 when there was no honor so I just did PvP for fun (crazy right?) Also alot of people going BRD so always alot going on in Searing Gorge. I also f*cked up with the Shadow Reflector trinket, forgot I even had it but don't really think it would've changed anything.
08:02 - 08:32 Just a good 1v1 against a well geared warlock
08:33 - 10:02 Tricky situation. I knew every 30 secs there would be another wave of respawns so I had to kill people fast. The warlock was once again a potato but SL spec so he was very tanky which didn't help me ... The CoC miss at 09:26 looks pretty bad but if you pay attention it was still on CD when I pressed it and was used after I already turned my character.. So just bad timing..
10:04 - 10:27 Same intro as the original with talents shown and a long flash at the end.
10:29 - 11:37 The transition at 10:34 is probably one of the best ones.. it's so well synced with the blink and the song. Also, you may be asking.. really? Flamestrike? Hell yeah why not if it works lol.
11:39 - 12:03 I was afk and waiting for my AV when I decide to randomly jump down and just came across this poor rogue. Filler Clip to stretch music ending.
12:04 - 16:19 The outro is the favorite part of my movie. Same music once again with the original one and here I give you some "flashbacks" so you can even see the original movie for a short time. 15:05 THIS.. is the best clip ever.. First of all this RANDOM mage had the exact same gear as me, the exact same face / facial feature so he looked like my brother lol. And you can see we were so perfectly synced. Rank 1 FB - Max Rank FB - Fireblast and we both got the Tier 2 Proc.. Holy this was so cool. Slunga, my man.
