One night we decided to go for this particular achievement and we did it.

Basic setup was:
4 Tanks
5 healers
16 DPS

Idea is to have one tank (as one healer) to jump over every mage and 4 dps'ers follow and nuke down the mage before the faction leader stacks up too many buffs.
