If an Alliance and Horde player could communicate, would they be foes, or partner in crime?

This Machinima tells the story of Shadowstep, a Blood-Elf Rogue, and Xylan, a Human Paladin. They both are deceived into taking a quest. The Horde's to gank, the Alliance's to find his way to Booty Bay. This results in them bumping heads midway across the map.

What happens next can only be described as bad meets evil.
