When patch 2.0 was released, a rare thing happened: the priest classes holy tree, normally strictly PvE oriented, got a few superb PvP talents. We got one of the best survivability talents of any healing class (Blessed Resilience), an excellent new efficiency talent (Holy Concentration), and a fun way to add burst dps into our heals (Surge of Light). Coupled with the release of the arena system, for the first time since I rolled my priest I was able to effectively PvP heal against excellent teams, and still come out on top and alive.

This movie is the product of my experiences. I saw alot of potential in the performance of my warrior friend, me, and a couple of guildmates in the arena and decided to make a movie out of it.

First of all, in terms of content, I was very strict as to what fights I allowed to be in this movie. Every single team in this movie is a pre-form, and about 80% of them are AQ40/Naxx geared (while me and my teammates are PvP/BWL geared). Those that arent AQ40/Naxx geared at least have the PvP epics that have proliferated recently, and I included them solely because they represented what I thought of as a challenge.

I'd also like to state that this movie is from a Holy Priests perspective. Due to this, you shouldnt watch expecting some kind of insane soloing prowess. The biggest crit I think I come up with is maybe a 1k smite. Rather, I think the enjoyment of this movie will come from the various little tricks I use to keep myself alive, my teammates healed and dispelled, and avoid catastrophes like counterspells, pummels, and hunters. Movement, line of sight, and hiding are all important elements from a healers point of view in the arena; and when all goes down the toilet, I turn on tanking mode, and absorb massive amounts of damage (provided there isnt a mage nearby to CS me) through healing and Blessed Resilience.
