A short story of loss, courage and sacrifice set in the World of Warcraft universe.

As some might guess, this was my submission to the Blizzcon machinima contest. It took about 3 solid weeks of being an antisocial prick to complete. It was a one-man show and I figured any kind of voice acting would ruin the whole purpose and feeling of the movie.

Oh and for the record, if I made it any longer, it probably wouldn't come under the classification of a 'short story', people! I wanted to keep it to the length of one song by the Blizzard music group (appropriately named 'Call To Arms') and so its bound to be no longer than the 2 minutes of the song itself! Plus, taking me 3 weeks just to pull off a 2:15 movie sequence was pretty arduous. I'm not sure I'll be making another any time soon.

And for those of you having difficulty grasping the plot, here's the rundown:

Its a short story about an Orc adventurer. His lover befalls tragedy at the hands of a powerful Lich, yet he finds the strength to go on when a new threat is unveiled through the Dark Portal. Our hero and his adventuring party find themselves surrounded by legions of the undead, but fate reveals an opportunity for vengeance and so our protagonist sacrifices himself to save the lives of his comrades..
