My friend (the rogue) and I (the druid) decided to put together a video of a few fight on the 2.3.2 public test realm. We don�t play perfectly, in fact, both of us make quite a few mistakes through-out, but the job gets done (some of the fights where we just start my keys aren�t bound correctly). Most of the fights are versus premades, but there were also quite a few appearances of gladiators/duelists. We started the night as mutilate and full resto, breaking 1900 with relative ease, but we didn�t feel it was an especially strong matrix. After respeccing to shadowstep and balance/restoration hybrid, we broke 2k, undefeated (although, we had some extremely close games). On our old server on live we broke 1900 in a day with a record of 38-10 with 4 disconnects in which we had already won. I�m no master of editing (in fact this is the first video I�ve put together), so most of this video is simply raw footage (the video is quite long as well�you can skip through it to see fights you�re interested in). My partner ran fraps for the first 2 fights, but the quality was bad, and as the heavy system resources that fraps requires was affecting his playing ability, he decided to stop filming. My partner Caide (the rogue) only endorses the two songs by muse and tool in this video (he wanted me to include that). Was trying to be original with the music, but some of it might not be to mainstream taste, in which case I suggest muting it and playing your own music. The video is mainly from my PoV, except for parts of one of the Rogue/Warlock fights.

The fights featured in this video are as followed:

Fight 1: Mage/Rogue --- Our first game of the night, where I hadn�t rebound a lot of my buttons accidentally. We were still rusty, so the rogue ran out of LOS early in. Tried to click my unbound pvp trinket but clicking is ftl >< thankfully after this game i fix it
Fight 2: Priest/Hunter
Fight 3: Priest/Warlock
Fight 4: Rogue/Warlock --- Our third game of our night, some of my bindings are still off. I die due to an extremely premature and non needed use of my pvp trinket.
Fight 5: Rogue/Warlock
Fight 6: Rogue/Warlock
Fight 7: Priest/Warlock --- This was our second fight of the night and you can see me rebinding some buttons during the fight. The rogue was lagging pretty hard this fight, but we did manage to get quality footage from both perspectives.

Unfortunately, our fight versus Warrior/Druid was cut out when my hard drive filled up, however it was easily won in under two minutes. The only other fight that was left out of the video was versus a Restoration Shaman/Combat Rogue team (from Druid PoV...would have been intense if we had it from rogue though [poison cleanse+poison cleansing totem+grounding totem+frost shock+earth bind+controlled/uncontrolled stuns and dazes from rogue) that went on for 18 minutes.

We both believe that these are the strongest talent set ups for our matrix. A balance/restoration build allows us to change into a double DPS matrix which can end most fights where usually: a) one DPS is insufficient to bring down a target (survivability comps such as warlock/druid) or b) CCs on the rogue hinder my partners DPS, not mine. Dreamstate, moonglow, nature�s grace, and an additional 6 yards on all CC abilities is extremely undervalued in the druid community right now. It is extremely hard to interrupt a 1 second cyclone or root when I�m casting around my opponents GCD. When fighting double DPS comps, provided that I stay out of los of at least one of the DPS, a single DPS cannot kill a druid. Feral charge is also not needed when a rogue has multiple tools of interruption on his own.

Our reason for choosing shadowstep is because a rogue (rather than a warrior) being paired with a balance/restoration druid has a) no dispels and b) no burst healing. We felt shadowstep is the best spec for mobility and survivability. With no burst healing, cheat death prevents any gibbing on the rouge (in addition to double vanish, multiple blinds per fight, cloak = bubble versus caster DPS teams).

It's a pretty big file, but i highly recommend downloading it because the stream quality isn't very good i don't think. Faiyne/Darkdestiny plays a rogue and Arete/Caide plays a warrior on live (our mains). However we both like to learn/play other classes and this video was a product of that.
