This video was made for entertainment purposes. I am no Neilyo when it comes to skill, but I am certainly better at editing. Laugh a little when you watch this. That is one of the reactions I'm looking to get.
This is a lot different than the large amount of world pvp WOTLK videos that have been released lately.
I am playing at level 70 and I use 6/8 nightslayers, Bloodfang Belt, Perdition Blade and Core Hound Tooth throughout the majority of this video. About 80%
Some footage was recorded while using my season3/season 4 gear. During this footage I am fighting against the odds- by that I mean fights against lv79s or 1v2 arena vs two lv74s. There is also a clip of a duel vs a 80 almost fully epic geared rogue with 17.5k health.
I MODEL CHANGE FOR VISUAL EFFECT AND THE PURPOSE OF THIS VIDEO...READ ON AND I WILL EXPLAIN THAT PURPOSE.
Also, I dump lots of cooldowns. What else would you expect from a rogue who's trying to burst down 70-80 targets while wearing lv60 gear, including weapons?
In one of my previous videos, which was made in September of this year, I included a section of footage that was dedicated to pre BC rogue pvp. This was done in a different way than authors such as nima, who created a video called "AE II Backstab PVP." I portrayed my adoration for pre BC rogues by wearing of my nightslayers gear during part of the video while fighting in lv70 BGs.
As far as I know, that was an original idea at the time. That section of the video was made to address the one thing that I always wanted to do here on WoW. And that was to create a rogue video during the most enjoyable time of WoWs existence, which was pre BC. I am aware that I am not alone when it comes to missing classical WoW. Pre BC rogue videos made by Perklunt and the slightly less popular, but very entertaining, Dakk are what inspired me to make a rogue in the first place.
Those two authors are the specific reason why I got a renataki charm of trickery, pvped to near marshal rank on my night elf rogue and why I started making pvp videos.
After leaving WoW for a while, I returned realizing that I went for so long without enjoying myself on the game because I did not have something that I always wanted. I have always desired to play an undead rogue. Me and 90% of the rogue community, eh? How original.
I wanted to continue with this idea of creating a pre BC rogue pvp dedicated video after I started leveling my alt undead rogue. It has been a good way for me to continue to pvp while still focusing on leveling my alt.
There are several elements in this video dedicated to Perklunt and Dakk.
My spec is shadow dance through the majority of the video, which I know I am not a pro with. I chose that spec in order stick with the idea of bursting a target as fast as possible, which is what pre BC rogues did.
Through a small part of the video I play mutilate speced 44/8/9
