What if you were given a task to put something together, a task that would require a variety of attack points to complete.. Would you approach this alone, or focus on what you are best at and let someone else join in to perfect it?
Time to take your craft to a new level, Blind Ferret Entertainment and Warcraftmovies.com bring you this summers biggest challenge, interpret and give your flava' to an already written manuscript!
Some guidance when dealing with a manuscript for the first time:
1. 'EXT.' Stands for exterior, which means the scene is suppose to take place outside. 'INT.' Stands for interior, which means inside.
2. 'O.S.' Stands for off-screen, for example if someone has a line, but the char is not in the picture, you will only hear him.
3. 'POV' Stands for point-of-view, which means the camera is shot from the eyes of the actor.
Your goal in this contest is to pick one of the two manuscripts (or both if you like) and give life to this story with your own personal touch. At the end of the submission period a selection of judges will carefully pick serious submissions that will go onto the community voting round!

1. Eligibility: The contest is open for all our users.
2. Length: Min. 1 minute - Max. 10 minutes.
3. Content: Recordings should focus on what guidance you have from the Manuscript. No extra scenes should be added and should you use extra "color" make sure you stay true to the story. All music may only be royalty free music or original creations or have the authors permission to use it in the contest to be eligible for Prizes. We may ask for proof of permission.
4. Participation:
4:1 Posting entries outside the WCM Network during the contest period (before winners are announced) will result in disqualification.
4:2 Multiple entries from the same author are permitted.
4:3 Movie has to be uploaded using our submission form and selecting category "Contest".
4:4 WarcraftMovies.com Promotion Clip must be in the intro of the movie submitted.
5. Winning:
An expert panel at WCM will select worthy movies in each category after the submission period is over, then it is up to the community to vote for the best video. The decision is final.

- Q: Can I make my own Story and submit it to this contest?
- A: No, this is suppose to be a contest where you as an Author follow guidelines and try only to water an already planted seed.
- Q: The Story is a bit dull, can I spice it up?
- A: Add extra color to the Script is OK, but stay true to the story, no extra scenes are allowed.
- Do I have to submit a whole movie or just a script?
- You will have to submit a complete movie with sound and everything.
- Q: Can I make more than one submission?
- A: Yes, the only limitation is how much spare time you got
- Q: Is music produced by Blizzard considered royalty free music?
- A: Yes, Blizzard produced World of Warcraft sound can be used in Machinima

It's tradition here on WCM that we host a Christmas Spirit Machinima Contest and this year is not any different, join us in the storytelling! Create a movie explaining what this holiday means to you, is it: snowy, merry, warm, dull, boring or completely.. completely wonderful!?
All you have to do to enter the contest is to submit and upload a Christmas-themed movie to us using our regular submission form, categorize it 'Contest'. At the end of the submission period WCM moderators will pick 5-10 movies that makes it to the voting round to decide who will win. |

The coming weeks we will be hosts of stories never before told! Compete in several categories: Drama, Music and Comedy - With over $2000 in prizes to be won!
Movie length is set to between 1 to 15 minutes and you are free to compete in every category as many as times you like.
