It's tradition here on WCM that we host a Christmas Spirit Machinima Contest and this year is not any different, join us in the storytelling! Create a movie explaining what this holiday means to you, is it: snowy, merry, warm, dull, boring or completely.. completely wonderful!?
All you have to do to enter the contest is to submit and upload a Christmas-themed movie to us using our regular submission form, categorize it 'Contest'. At the end of the submission period WCM moderators will pick 5-10 movies that makes it to the voting round to decide who will win. |

| Rules |
1. Eligibility: The contest is open for all our users.
2. Length: Min. 1 minute - Max. 8 minutes. (with credits and promo)
3. Content: Recordings should focus on World of Warcraft but feel free to venture outside the frames if you feel it will make your movie better.
4. Participation:
4:1 Posting entries outside the Machinima Entertainment Network during the contest period (before winners are announced) will result in disqualification.
4:2 Multiple entries from the same author are permitted.
4:3 Movie has to be uploaded using our submission form and selecting category "Contest".
4:4 WarcraftMovies.com Promotion Clip must be in the intro of the movie submitted.
5. Winning: At the end of the submission period WCM moderators will pick 5-10 movies that makes it to the voting round to decide who will win.

- A: No, Tell us with a music video, comedy or fable - Anything goes.

- A: Yes, the only limitation is how much spare time you got

This fall, WarcraftMovies.com sets out to find The Fabled Few who can spin tales equal to the King's jesters!
The coming weeks we will be hosts of stories never before told! Compete in several categories: Drama, Music and Comedy - With over $2000 in prizes to be won!
Movie length is set to between 1 to 15 minutes and you are free to compete in every category as many as times you like. Contestants in the Music video category may only use royalty free music or original creations or have the authors permission to be eligible for Prizes. Same rules apply if you use background music in the other categories. Check out Podseek.net and Okaytoplay.com for more "safe" music.
At the end of the submission period a selection of judges will carefully pick 5 movies in each category that will into community voting round! |
